SAWA held a community fundraiser - THE JEEPNEY PROJECT - at Pardz Nite, Rotonda Restaurant on March 19, 2005.
We helped raise funds for survivours of the tsunami in Eastern Sri Lanka, flood relief efforts in the Philippines, and
supported the family of slain Filipino youth, Jeffrey Reodica, raise legal funds in their fight for justice.
A great line up of performers including drag queens, martial artists, singer/songwriters and dancers performed for over
100 guests.
Maraming salamat / thank you very much to: Pardz Toronto, Rotonda 21, SAWA volunteers, performers, DJ and everyone for
making the evening a success.
Thank you for caring,
SAWA Coordinating Committee
